Abstract:
This research takes up the proposal for the analysis of the innovation process in enterprises of tourist services in a previous study conducted with the intention to propose a method for its empirical valuation. Whereas this process of innovation are two sequential phases: the first relates to the way in which technological innovations are assimilated and another where organizational innovations are generated in this paper we construct three indicators that relate to phases and the total measurement of the process. These are: the Index of Assimilation of Technological Innovations in Tourism Management (IAIT), the Generation Rate Organizational Innovation in Tourism Enterprises (IGIO) and the Index of Innovation in Tourism Enterprises (IIET).
