Abstract:
The objective of this research is to characterize microenterprises and identify the main problems that affect their performance, through exploratory research of a descriptive nature. The survey was conducted with 359 micro-enterprises distributed in the nine urban parishes of Quevedo, with the database of the Internal Revenue Service (SRI) company registry. The microenterprises cons-titute the largest percentage of productive units within the business fabric, they are important in that they generate employment and boost the economy of Quevedo
