Abstract:
This article aims to analyze the evolution of the natural gas market in EU member states in 2023, with a focus on the market share of the leader, household consumers, and non-household consumers. Relevant data is extracted from EUROSTAT and analyzed to identify trends and variations in this essential sector of the European economy. Comparative analysis of prices, consumption, and market structure provides a comprehensive perspective on the current situation and challenges facing the natural gas sector in the EU. The results highlight the importance of promoting energy diversification, energy efficiency, and market competition to ensure a sustainable and competitive energy environment.
