Abstract: In recent years, together with the social and economical changes, the concern for the water and wastewater supply systems has arisen up. At present, the investments in the water and wastewater supply sector are allocated to the rehabilitation and the development of the water supplies and sewerage systems in towns and to the accomplishment of new water supply and sewage systems in the rural areas. For the rural areas the execution and the performance of the sewerage system is designed according to the wastewater flows, the discharge in the collector system depending on the geographical area. Thereby, this paper describes the best option for the development and execution of the sewerage systems in terms of cost-effective option and minimal exploitation.
