Abstract: The study analyses the determining role that the knowledge-based management has in the modern society. In this context, an analysis is conducted with regard to the decisive role of knowledge in the foundation of the new management system. Finally, assessments are made with regard to the conception and practice of the knowledge-based management in the organizational environment.
