Abstract: The context of the financial crisis started has triggered a flow of funds towards the Islamic financial market, which has turned itself into an alternative to the traditional banking structures. The paper herein includes: stages in the evolution of the Islamic banks; the Islamic principles and how they referred to the international banking standards; the impact of the informational technology on the funds segregation and diversification of the Islamic financial products for non-Muslim customers.
