Abstract: Introduction. The use of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in logistics is relevant for accelerating deliveries, reducing costs, improving efficiency, and ensuring access to hard-to-reach areas. This study is aimed at examining case studies of UAV use by various companies and identifying the advantages and disadvantages of utilizing these systems in logistics. Materials and methods. The study used the following materials: scientific publications and articles in logistics and unmanned technologies from reputable journals; legislative and regulatory acts governing UAV use in different countries. The research methods included SWOT analysis and case study method. Results. The experience of foreign and Russian companies using UAVs in logistics is being considered and compared. A SWOT analysis is conducted to identify the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats of UAV implementation. Additionally, given the numerous current restrictions and prohibitions on this technology, the limitations and challenges of drone use in logistics are highlighted. UAVs enable companies to reduce costs, minimize human error, and enhance efficiency through process automation. They facilitate process optimization and improvement of logistics operations within enterprises. UAVs represent the future not only of logistics but also of the broader technological sector. As businesses scale up, each company seeks to develop innovative technologies that attract customers and differentiate their operations. The adoption of drones could serve as a tool for companies not only to enhance their activities through optimization and modernization but also to increase brand recognition and operational scale. Conclusion. The use of UAVs may contribute to reduced emissions, as they can be more energy-efficient than traditional transport vehicles. Implementing UAVs in logistics could create new jobs in development, manufacturing, maintenance, and operation, while also fostering growth in related industries.
