Abstract: Die über 100 jährige Geschichte als auch neuere wissenschaftliche Studien haben gezeigt, dass sich Betriebliche Sozialarbeit (BSA) zu einer leistungsstarken und hoch aktuellen Unterstützerin von berufstätigen Menschen und Organisationen entwickelt hat. Privatwirtschaftliche Unternehmen, öffentliche Verwaltungen, Hochschulen und andere Organisationen greifen verstärkt auf Angebote interner und externer Betrieblicher Sozialarbeit z u r ü c k . D a b e i i s t d i e j e we i l i g e s o z i a l e Verantwortung und Werteorientierung der Unternehmensleitungen nach wie vor ein entscheidender Faktor, ob ein entsprechendes Angebot gemacht wird oder eben nicht. Der vorliegende Aufsatz zeichnet kompakt relevante Entwicklungslinien nach, zeigt das aktuelle Leistungsangebot und qualitative Standards auf. Er gibt vertiefte Einblicke für Entscheidungstragende, Anbietende, Kund/inn/en u n d I n t e r e s s i e r t e z u m f a c h l i c h e n Entwicklungsstand und Nutzen Betrieblicher Sozialarbeit in Deutschland.
