Qualitätskosten-Controlling in Schweizer KMU - Eine Analyse des aktuellen Forschungsstandes

Abstract: This article shows the current state of research in the field of quality management (QM) based on literature research on quality management and appropriate models as well as the survey of quality costs among Swiss Small and Medium Sized Enterprises (SME). The research showed that especially in Eastern Europe and Asia considerably more studies on quality management are conducted than in Central Europe. Switzerland itself is like a black mark in terms of QM studies. A lot of general statistical data is available, studies on quality management systems and quality costs are rare. Especially with regard to quality costs, the use of computer-aided quality systems (CAQ) and the competitiveness of SMEs, there is a large gap in the Swiss entrepreneurial field. Scientists warn against the lack of studies related to SMEs. Due to the high economic importance of SMEs, much more research should be done.
