Abstract:
Uncertainty and the unknown as integral attributes of modernity leave their mark on the development of all processes and phenomena. They also have a significant impact on management cycles, creating new demands and challenges. The purpose of the article is to substantiate a conceptual approach to the study of management culture, identifying its structural, functional and substantive characteristics, and developing a comprehensive model of management culture under conditions of uncertainty. The author substantiates an original comprehensive model that includes structural, functional and content components of management culture and its key principles. The methodological basis consists of the works by A.V. Tikhonov, D.G. Peredni and the author’s development of the problem. The empirical basis for the formulated conclusions and provisions were the results of all-Russian studies of 2017–2023, the results of an expert discussion of 2023 and the conclusions of an international study of 2023 on leadership issues in modern conditions. As a result, the author argues for the conclusion that in conditions of permanent, global and rapid changes, constant correction of the substantive and value-semantic components of management culture is required. The proposed comprehensive model can become a conceptual basis for further research into management culture and identifying key directions for its development.
