Abstract: The article is devoted to analyzing the essence of Stolypin’s agrarian reforms. The author takes it in comparison with outcome of the peasant reform of 1861 and evaluates it as its logical extension. Commending the Stolypin’s reform in general, he believes that in case of its full completion it would lead to a real solution of the agrarian and in particular the land question in Russia and ensure the successful development of domestic agricultural production.
