Russian economy: advantages and disadvantages

Abstract:
The essence of the modern Russian socio-economic transformation - in the modernization of the Russian economy, in its transition from the industrial system in the modern post-industrial. This is a well-known practice of the economic problem solved similar problems in Western countries 1970-80s. And then they, and we are now solving this problem is not smoothly go through the transformational crisis. However, unlike Western countries, Russia embarked on a post-industrial transformation later, and it is important to ensure not only the modernization, but modernization at an accelerated pace, allowing to reduce (overcome) the existing gap between the level of development of Russia and the most technologically advanced countries in the world. In fact, we should talk about the model of post-industrial breakthrough - the elaboration of public policy instruments that provide a breakthrough.
