Abstract: In this paper the author addresses the major problems of an industrial environment—themodernization of labor relations for the protection of labor. The author points to theextreme inefficiency of the labor protection system in the Russian Federation and its nega-tiveimpact on the economy as awhole. Modernization policies in occupational safety andhealth will largely solve the chronic problem of high mortality in the production, improve theability of enterprises to implement programs to improve the efficiency of labor utilization.
