The synergistic effect of NBIC-technologies and world economic growth in the first half of the XXI century

Abstract:
In this paper, it is predicted that the economies of the developed countries in 2014-2015 to begin a significant recovery, which in the years 2017-2018 will go into the rise of the 6th Kondratieff cycle of great economic (6th BCC 2018-2050 years). The basic innovations 6th BCC will be NBIC-technologies (nano-, bio-, info- and cognitive technologies). Locomotives upward wave 6th BCC will become the most developed countries: the US, EU and Japan - a recognized leaders in the research and development of NBIC-technologies. It is shown that NBIC-technologies thanks to the powerful synergetic effects created by the mutual convergence of the nano-, bio-, info- and cognitive technologies, will give a strong acceleration of the pace of technological progress, which exceeded the rate achieved in the previous upward wave, the 5th BCC (1982- 2006).
