In 2013, the situation in the Russian banking sector has undergone major changes. The growth of volume indicators of the banking sector is mainly due to the aggressive behavior of banks in the consumer credit market, despite the actions of the Bank of Russia to reduce the attractiveness of such loans for banks. At the same time in the banking sector amplified the imbalance associated with the uneven distribution of liquidity overflow customers from medium and small banks to large (in the first place - the banks with state participation in the capital). The last factor was a force acts on improvement of the Bank of Russia's banking sector by revoking the licenses of a sufficiently large number of banks.
