Abstract: The article examines the development of international settlements in national currencies of the countries - partners of Russia in international integration associations - the Eurasian Economic Union, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and the BRICS economic bloc. The relevance of the study is due to the needs of economic integration, the expansion of the practice of economic sanctions in relations between states, as well as crisis phenomena in the global financial system. The empirical base of the study is the results of a survey of representatives of nineteen largest Russian banks
