Abstract: Purpose. The article is devoted to the analysis of the economic foundations of organizational vandalism and the assessment of the economic risks of this phenomenon. The article summarizes the experience of studying the risks of organizational and vandal behavior, assesses the current state of the enterprise management system from the standpoint of the existence of risk factors of organizational vandalism in it (using the example of one of the industrial enterprises in Ekaterinburg). Methods The analysis of literary sources, the empirical analysis of industrial enterprises and the content analysis of documents served as basic research methods. Results and practical significance. A mechanism has been formulated for assessing the risks of the occurrence of events of organizational-vandal behavior of employees of companies (enterprises and organizations). Scientific novelty. The article proposed a methodological toolkit for analyzing and preventing possible vandal actions of personnel. The proposed mechanism will significantly reduce the transaction costs of preventing and combating the consequences of organizational vandalism.
