Abstract:
Problem definition. In the academic literature devoted to studies of destructive activity in cyberspace, most of the works have political groups as their subject. Meanwhile, there are radical communities of non-political orientation that cause a negative public response, but have not yet become the object of systematic theoretical efforts. These include teenage Internet associations with an extremist orientation. Purpose. These groups are compared according to a number of ideological, social, organizational and linguistic parameters. Method of research. The implementation of these tasks requires the use of both theoretical and empirical research techniques. First, it is a categorical-criteria analysis, a thesaurus, and a critical discourse analysis. The central concept of research and at the same time its criterion is the concept of hatred. Results. Substantial “passports” of their main ideological and subcultural characteristics were compiled, which became the basis for their comparative analysis. Scientific novelty.
