Abstract: Relevance of the topic. The development of the public service, namely the creation of qualitatively new and highly qualified personnel, as well as the modernization of existing ones, is the most important priority of the Russian Federation in improving and updating the public administration system in the coming years. Target. Development of proposals to improve the professional development of civil servants in the Government of the Voronezh region. Methodology. Analysis of the professional development system in the Government of the Voronezh region. Results and conclusions. Based on the analysis and assessment of the existing system of professional development of personnel of the Government of the Voronezh Region, the main shortcomings of the system were identified and recommendations for its improvement were proposed. Application area. Department of Civil Service and Personnel of the Government of the Voronezh Region.
