Abstract:
Relevance of the topic. The need to ensure the sustainable development of the organization based on increasing its operational efficiency through the application of the principles of “lean production”. Target. Study the genesis of the concept of “operational efficiency”, consider the system of operational efficiency and its elements. Methodology. Methods of generalization, analysis, synthesis, historical, analogies. Results and conclusions. Based on the study of the genesis of the concept of “operational efficiency,” types of operational efficiency are identified, a system is proposed, and elements of internal and external operational efficiency are considered in the context of applying the principles of “lean production.” The definition of operational efficiency has been clarified, and the indicators that influence it at the level of the organization and the microenvironment of the system’s functioning have been identified. Application area. Organizational management, sustainable development of the organization and competitive position in the market.
