Abstract:
The article examines the dynamics of the globalization process and its impact on the transformation of the world political system. Particular attention is paid to the influence of globalization on the sovereignty of national states. The author noted that globalization is a process, not a qualitatively different final state, where politics has largely given up its position to economic relations. The integration of national states into the global economy is currently being carried out in at least two main visible and measurable ways: first, the rapid spread and advancement of foreign capital, and the development of trade and, secondly, the spread of ideas of political democracy and a market economy in To the extent that this was not observed earlier in modern history. It is concluded that globalization appears as a specific ideological basis for the current stage in the formation of the international political system, which justifies the minimization of negative consequences in its development through the formation of a unified system of values and relations stemming from them within the framework of a single world space.
