Abstract: In the article the authors present the results of a study of the possibilities of solving the issues of diversification in the regional economy of the industry on the basis of Bioeconomy, in particular through the development in the regions rich in forests industry for the production of solid biofuel. The authors monitor the data of the current state of solid biofuel sales in Russia and in the world, as well as give recommendations on what will the introduc-tion of the production of this product for the regions of the country, in addition to direct financial profit.
