Abstract: Dagestan is an ethnocultural region with a fairly stable system of traditions, the reproduction of which occurs through family channels of socialization, but at the same time it is included in the globalization processes, and therefore it seems important to consider the problem of forming a family culture of the Dagestan youth. The subject of sociological comprehension is the family culture of youth, without which it is difficult to imagine the development of a prosperous family in society, in the presence of negative phenomena such as the growth of devorces in young families, families, family violence, single-parent families, the decline of moral values.
