Abstract: The relevance of this article is due to the fact that all over the world the role and treasure of tourism in the country's economy is constantly increasing, but in Russia, which has significant tourist potential, its development is limited by the low level of infrastructure development. The analysis of statistical data made it possible to identify the main shortcomings in the functioning of the tourism industry, as well as to formulate key areas for improving the infrastructure of tourism in Russia.
