Abstract:
In the article the methodological approaches to ensure the spatial development of the border territory on the basis of program and strategic methods are discusses. A competent and skillful settlement of the processes of socio-economic development, through the implementation of targeted development programs on the part of the state, can lead to an increase in socio-economic well-being. Fore ensure the spatial develop-ment of the territory, it is recommended to use two levels of strategy: capital investment in the region and the development of the spiritual, moral and humanitarian spheres. Also, it is necessary to have a good regulatory and methodological framework that allows you to implement the strategy of socio-economic development of territories.
