State and Municipal Management Scholar Notes, 2019, vol. 1, 20-26

Abstract: Using the methods of content analysis and data classification, the authors of the article implemented a linguistic and sociological study, which involves the study of administrative and political discourse. Video materials of the annual event held on the platform of the Russian Academy of national economy and public administration under the President of the Russian Federation "Gaidar forum 2019"were used as empirical material. According to the authors, public speeches of the speakers in the framework of panel and expert discussions of the political and economic forum demonstrate modern communication trends and social contexts. The hypothesis of the presented work is the idea of the existence of a speech and cultural standard or sample, formed by the speech of the intellectual elite, and is a reference point for all citizens of the Russian Federation. Positive and negative communicative tendencies characterizing administrative and political discourse of the XXI century were formulated as the main conclusions.
