Abstract: This article is devoted to the problems of organizing sports-mass and sports and recreational work among students. Such work needs to be built in the following areas: preventive, corrective, educational, socializing, developing. Conducting sports and recreational activities and the development of university sports contributes to the preparation of highly qualified specialists and preserve the integrity of the mass sports and sports movement. Formation of a healthy lifestyle becomes an important direction of youth policy in the field of physical culture and sports.
