Abstract: The study examines the problems of functioning of the solid biofuel industry in Russia within the framework of the General national model of industrial economy development. The authors present the results of monitoring data on the current state of the economy of the industry in Russia and in the world, and offer recommendations on how to make the production of the main product of the industry in our country more efficient and competitive.
