Abstract:
The article deals with one of the approaches in the framework of economic sociology to identify the causes and ways of certain forms of behavioral dependence of young people, which leads to addictive behavior. This study explains an important feature of the process of consumption: a thing or a product is purchased not only and not so much to eliminate the need for something, but also often acts as an object of human aspiration and affection. It also reveals the features of the process of consumption by young people. The concept of addictive pleasure is defined. The data of research on this topic are presented and analyzed.
