Abstract:
The article deals with the processes of transformation of the political system of post-Soviet Russia. An important component of the social system of the modern state is the presence of a developed civil society. One of the main sub-jects of civil society are non-profit organizations as self-organizing associations of active citizens, created to protect the interests of different groups of the population, dialogue with the authorities, the implementation of the tasks of public participation in public administration.
