Abstract:
The article explores the concept of "national interests" from the point of view of geopolitical, considers different approaches and highlights the peculiarities of geopolitical approach. These approaches make it possible to trace the evolution of Russia 's national interests, identify historical factors and formulate modern Russian national interests within the framework of basic geopolitical exercises. Special attention is paid to the identification of Russian peculiarities of national interests in the works of modern classics of the American school of Atlantism.
