Abstract: The article presents the results of an interdisciplinary study of formal social institutions in the management of condominiums, carried out by analyzing official documents – the protocols of general meetings of owners of premises in apartment buildings in Novosibirsk. The analysis of the protocols was carried out according to such parameters of general meetings as role decomposition (initiators, chairman and secretary, counting committee), spatio-temporal parameters (location and form, frequency and duration, place of collection and storage of documents), eligibility (quorum) and problematics (agenda). As a result, the study revealed the features and trends of general meetings of two different groups of condominiums by the Dunbar number – small, medium and multistorey (up to 150 apartments) and high-rise (more than 150 apartments).
