Abstract: The purpose of the article is to represent an analysis of the results of the sociological review of studying youth of Krelia and Komi Republics about the results of the Great Patriotic war, held with aim of setting the tasks of the youth policy and the patriotic learning of the youth. The structure of sources of information, family experience, results of study in educational organizations about the results of the Great Patriotic war used by schoolchildren and students is considered. The comparative analysis carried out is accompanied by expert reflection onto the problems of social patriotic actions, organization of jubilee festivities. The article was prepared on the basis of empirical information of interregional sociological research held in five federal districts, ten regions.
