Abstract: The article discusses the issue of the efficiency of business incubators in the aspect of business support at the initial stages of formation. Thus, the study examined and analyzed the domestic and foreign experience of organizing small businesses, provides examples and statistical data on individual large business incubators in Russia, Europe, the United States and Chile, on the basis of which the effectiveness of this form of support was stated. Also using the example of Russia, the experience of ineffective organization of the business incubation system was also considered, a comparative analysis of successful and unsuccessful ecosystems was carried out, as a result of which the problems of a part of Russian business incubators were identified and solutions were proposed to eliminate them.
