Abstract:
This article examines the results of a sociological survey of a typical military organization in the city of Saratov, conducted as part of a study of the social stratification of servicemen in June 2020. The aim of the study is to identify the nature of the influence of social inequality on servicemen, based on its differentiating and integrating impact on society. The study uses the method of multidimensional stratification using a number of objective and subjective indicators of differentiation. Much attention is paid to income stratification as a key one in influencing the financial situation of servicemen. The affiliation of social and professional groups of military personnel to large income strata - upper, middle, lower - has been determined. The features of the stratification of social and professional groups are highlighted. The scientific novelty of the work lies in the application of the multidimensional stratification method to analyze the differentiation of the military collective.
