Abstract: In modern conditions, project activities enable cultural institutions to effectively use their resources, revealing their creative potential, and attract funds from sponsors. This form of management in our country in the field of culture has been practiced since the late 90-s of the XX century, and today it has become a dynamically developing direction in the planning of public policy processes in General and organizations in particular. Changes in the socio-economic situation in the country contribute to the introduction of such market concepts as: competition, competitiveness, service, product, etc. The purpose of the study is to develop methodological recommendations for improving the personnel management of cultural organizations in the framework of their project activities. The scientific novelty of the research consists in the theoretical justification and development of recommendations for the implementation of project management in cultural institutions.
