Abstract: The article analyzes the importance of interaction between civil society and public authorities of the Donetsk People's Republic, considers the activities of the Public Chamber of the DPR, its role as one of the subjects of public influence on the government. A comparative analysis of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation in the system of public control and the Public Chamber of the DPR is carried out. The necessity of the work of such organizations on the territory of the Donetsk People's Republic in order to establish a dialogue between civil society and the acting government bodies has been proved. The main types of support in the development of the third sector by the government of the Russian Federation are determined. The necessity of borrowing Russian experience for the organization and implementation of public control over the regulation of the activities of state authorities of the Donetsk People's Republic is substantiated.
