Abstract:
In the context of the international crisis, health tourism is a powerful catalyst for the regions’ development to ensure global economic competition. However, health tourism has become one of the sectors most affected by the pandemic. The article defines the main economic consequences of COVID-19 pandemic for health tourism and for the industries that depend on it. The need for state support of the health tourism was emphasized.
