Abstract: The success of solving socio-economic and political-managerial problems depends on their timely structuring. This applies to the North Caucasus Federal District, which has been developing since 2010 with different results, but without obvious systemic successes. At a new stage in 2020-2021 the ef-forts of the Government of the Russian Federation in the audit of the situation in the North Caucasus Feder-al District and in the intensification of the political and administrative process are updated. The implemen-tation of the main directions of development must be correlated with the objective and subjective North Caucasian economic, political, social, historical, mental circumstances and factors. Some expedient directions of structuring and solving the problems of the North Caucasus Federal District are proposed.
