Abstract: The article examines the features of public control in modern Russia, examines the activities of the main institutions of public control, determines the main types and forms of public control in the regions of the Russian Federation. Special attention is paid to identifying the characteristic problems of public control at the regional and municipal level, and recommendations for solving these problems are also proposed.
