Abstract: The article presents an attempt to comprehend the new edition of the National Security Strategy. The author focuses on the value-semantic, cultural, spiritual-moral dimension of this doctrinal act. An analysis of the innovations adopted in the new Strategy in response to global trends affecting Russia and the world space is carried out. The article identifies threats to the Russian state and society, which are presented in the fundamental regulatory documents. The author examines the positions of leading Russian researchers on the issue of cultural policy, development of legislation on culture, strengthening of Russian statehood with the help of the hidden potential of Russian culture. The article also presents large discussion platforms focused on the investigated problem area. The author puts forward the thesis about the relevance of the actualization of the educational paradigm, as a mechanism for the implementation of the Strategy in the field of culture.
