Abstract:
The technological transformation of healthcare is the most important global trend, which was significantly updated in connection with the COVID-19 pandemic. The potential for the artificial intelligence market is significant. But economic prerequisites are needed to realize this potential as a promising growth point in the segment of healthcare. The article defines the key directions of using artificial intelligence in medicine, the main trends and barriers to the development of artificial intelligence as the most important factor in the national health systems’ competitiveness. The need to analyze for the accelerated development of artificial intelligence in medicine is justified in the context of international experience of its support.
