Abstract:
Due to the fact that youth extremism is currently one of the most dangerous problems of modern Russian society, the authors of the work turn to the subculture of football fans, which influences the formation of extremist sentiments in the youth environment. In this article, the authors of the work relate to the historical aspects of the emergence of the subculture of Russian football fanaticism, characterize fan organizations, consider their subculture, analyze the reasons for the presence of extremist and racist manifestations among fans, propose methods to combat these phenomena, including by organizing competent interaction and joint efforts of law enforcement agencies, football clubs and the fans themselves.
