Abstract:
The article reveals patterns and trends in the development of the sphere of municipal solid waste management based on the principles of sustainable development. It is noted that the current stage of social development is based on the need to ensure environmental safety, one of the elements of which is the need for a comprehensive and efficient management of municipal solid waste. The authors of the article provide analytical data on the current state of the ongoing reforms, as well as highlight the problematic aspects of the ongoing activities. The provision is given that it is possible to solve a number of problems and increase efficiency in the field of municipal solid waste management on the basis of public-private partnership.
