Abstract: The article analyzes the regulatory documents of Great Britain concerning the phenomenon of public service. We believe that in addition to the classical political ideologies represented by political parties, there are non-political ideologies, corporate ideologies. Civil servants are a separate corporation in many modern democratic and non-democratic states. If the informal values of officials are often hidden (they are not always negative in themselves, but the most striking and prominent example of such abnormality is corruption), then formal ones, on the contrary, are visible and prescribed in regulatory documents. The article analyzes the codes of conduct of British officials. Objectives: to identify examples of the ideology of public service on the example of Great Britain.
