Abstract:
The article analyzes the features of the "consumer society" as a special form of social structure in the current conditions of globalization and informatization of social contacts. The authors examine the value problems of a society endowed with the characteristics attributed to it by J. Baudriard. Axiological problems are considered both at the interpersonal level and at the general social level.
