Abstract: This article are discussed the actual problems of the creative activity results protecting, as one of the key factors in sustainable development. These problems have been updated and taken on new forms in the digital transformation, which has accelerated in the COVID-19 pandemic. Attention is paid to the tools to counter the trade in counterfeit products and piracy. The factors that have a negative impact on the human creative activity development, the main problems and directions of combating the violation of intellectual property rights, incl. on the Internet.
