Abstract: Westernizers and Slavophiles. The discussion between them has been going on for more than 200 years. Does Russia have its own, special way of development? The liberal-democratic model of the Russian economy, which has been at the heart of the economy since the 1990s, has not stood the test of time. What should be the modern model of the country's development? What principles should the modern school of Russian thought rely on when developing its own model. Is it necessary to take into account the world experience of development and in what form?
