Abstract: The article examines the axiological problems of choosing the civilizational path of development of modern Russia, identifies the causes and problems of the emerging ideological crisis, analyzes the ideological components of the "Pentabasis" model proposed within the framework of the "DNA of Russia" project. According to the results of the study, it is proposed to use humanistic values to form the worldview of young people within the framework of modern educational policy. The use of the ideological components of "Pentabasis" in educational practice will contribute to the formation of patriotism and citizenship among students, as one of the most socially active part of Russian society.
