Abstract:
Digital transformations are considered by researchers as the most important factor in the sustainable development of industry. The purpose of this article is to analyze the impact of digital technologies on the sustainability of industrial development, characterized by the corresponding growth index. The object of the analysis was the regions on the territory of which the million-plus cities are located. Correlation and regres-sion analysis, descriptive statistics and graphoanalytic analysis were used as research methods. The results of the study showed a low correlation of indicators of the use of digital technologies on the pace of industrial development. It is most evident for ERP systems, artificial intelligence and cloud technologies. The types of regions are identified depending on the ratio of the level of digital technologies used and the industrial development index. It is concluded that the effects of the introduction of digital technologies in the context of achieving sustainable development objectives will manifest themselves only in the presence of favorable institutional and organizational and managerial conditions.
